🎉🥳 Birthday Party Fun! 🥳🎉

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our residents’ birthdays this month! 🎂💐 A huge thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who helped make the afternoon so special – from decorating to serving cake and everything in between, we couldn’t have done it without you. 💛

A special shoutout as well to The Cod Tongue Bys for bringing the music and filling the room with so much joy and energy – you had everyone clapping, singing, and dancing along! 🎶💃🕺

We had such a great time yesterday morning sipping tea and coffee, enjoying puzzles, and starting the week off right with good company. A special thank you goes out to our amazing chef for the delicious little breakfast muffins that paired perfectly with our mugs! 🥰🧁

☀️ Good News Update! ☀️

We’re happy to share that our home is no longer under an evacuation alert — such a big relief for us all! 💚

While the air quality is still a little smoky, we’re putting our residents’ health first by keeping activities indoors for now. Any outdoor events we had planned will be rescheduled for a later, sunnier day 🌸✨.

Thank you all for your kindness and support — we can’t wait to enjoy the fresh air together again soon! 💕

📢 Important Update for Our Kingsway Community 📢

Due to the current air quality conditions, we’ve made the decision to postpone all outdoor activities for the time being. This includes this morning’s "Silver Fox Walk" as well as Saturday’s “A Day at Kingsway Beach.”

While we’re disappointed to hit pause on these fun events, the health and safety of our residents and families always come first. 💛

We’ll be keeping a close eye on conditions and will share new dates as soon as it’s safe to reschedule.

In the meantime, we hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 💬☀️

We’d like to provide a quick update for our wonderful residents, families, and community: we remain under an evacuation alert due to the nearby wildfires. Our team continues to monitor the situation closely and remains in regular contact with emergency services.

💛 Everyone is safe, calm, and doing well. We are taking every necessary precaution and are fully prepared to respond if needed.
