What a wonderful month of May we have had here at Kingsway Living! 🌸💛
This month was filled with so many special moments — from adorable baby visits, fun games, church services, movies, and lots of music and laughter shared together.
A huge shout out to all of our amazing entertainers and visitors who helped make this month so memorable:

To end off the month, we celebrated our Resident Birthday Party with the wonderful Singing Seniors! 🎂🎉

✨ What a wonderful evening we had at our Spring Ball last night! ✨

A huge thank you to The Overpass for providing the amazing music for our dance! They did an excellent job and had everyone up dancing, singing along, and enjoying the evening together. 💃🕺

Our residents are still raving about the music and how much fun they had at the ball! It was truly a night filled with laughter, dancing, and wonderful memories. ❤️

A special thank you to all of our amazing staff and volunteers who helped make this night so wonderful for our residents. Your hard work, kindness, and dedication helped create such a special evening for everyone involved! 🌸

We would like to extend a Happy Nurses Week to all of our community partners. In each of our homes we are pleased to work alongside nursing teams from NL Health Services as well as nurses in private practice, all of whom are dedicated to each of our residents.

🌸 What an eventful week here at Kingsway Living! 🌸

We started the week off with Baby joining us for Mind and Mug, bringing lots of smiles and great conversation to our residents. ☕❤️

With the beautiful weather finally here, we were also excited to start up our walking club this week! 🚶‍♀️☀️ Residents enjoyed getting outside, stretching their legs, and chatting along the way.

We were also treated to a wonderful visit from the lovely Sweet Forget-Me-Nots! 🎶 Our talented cook prepared some delicious treats for everyone to enjoy along with the music, making for a truly special afternoon. 🍪✨

The fun kept going with some exciting axe throwing activities, full of laughs, friendly competition, and cheering each other on! 🪓😊

To wrap up the week, we celebrated Mother’s Day with love, laughter, and special moments shared together. 💖🌸

Our May Calendar is here at Kingsway! 🌸☀️
We are also excited to share that the Kingsway Newsletter is back up and running! Be sure to keep an eye out for updates, events, and all the fun happening around our home. 📰❤️
We have lots of exciting events coming up this month!
💐 Mother’s Day Celebration 💐
We will be creating a special slideshow for our residents, and we would love for family members to send along any pictures or heartfelt messages to include for their loved ones. Please have everything sent in before noon on Thursday, May 7th. We can’t wait to share these special memories! ❤️

💃 Spring Ball – May 21st 💃
Our annual Spring Ball is just around the corner, so get your dancing shoes ready for a wonderful evening filled with great music, delicious food, and lots of fun!
Supper will be for residents only. Families are warmly invited to join us afterward when the music begins at 7:00 PM to dance the night away with their loved ones! 🎶❤️
We also have plenty more to look forward to this month, including live music, baby visits, and everyone’s favourite — ice cream days! 🍦🎶👶

What an eventful week here at Kingsway! 🎉

To kick things off, we had some lovely babies come visit us, along with some fun brain puzzles to keep everyone thinking! 🧩👶

Throughout the week, we were treated to wonderful performances from the talented Cod Tongue B'ys, the Singing Seniors, and Tony! 🎶 They had our residents singing along, tapping their toes, and enjoying every moment. 💃❤️

We also had a blast playing a fun game of axe throwing, filled with lots of laughs and friendly competition! 🪓😄

To top it all off, we finished the week with some delicious ice cream enjoyed by all! 🍦

It’s been a week full of smiles, music, laughter, and great memories here at Kingsway!

We had a fantastic start to the week here on Monday with a visit from the Cod Tongue B’ys! 🎶

They were absolutely amazing and had our residents tapping their toes, clapping along, and singing to some great tunes. The room was full of energy, smiles, and plenty of good Newfoundland spirit!

Thank you to the Cod Tongue B’ys for bringing such joy and entertainment to our residents — we can’t wait to have you back again! 💙

What a wonderful week we’ve had here at Kingsway! 🎉

From some friendly competition with darts, to staying active with balloon volley and a fun game of Wii bowling, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We also cooled off with a sweet ice cream social and hosted a meaningful seminar that brought residents and families together for an informative and engaging session.

To top it all off, we were treated to an incredible visit from the Sunshine Singers with the Arts and Aging Network—they had everyone laughing, singing along, and boogieing in their chairs!

We truly had a fantastic week and an even better weekend filled with fun, connection, and great memories. 💛
