About
Heather decided she wanted to help people as a career, which lead to her enrolment in the Massage Therapy Program in 2016, she graduated in 2018 and has since been working as a registered massage therapist and gained 2 years experience. Her primary goals are to facilitate pain reduction and healing— she approaches all situations with an open mind and has a good understanding of various conditions through her extensive post-secondary training and hands on experience.
Her treatment style reflects her athletic background with a focus on working to find the origin of a dysfunction. She is very passionate about her patients’ health and places a strong emphasis on individualized treatment plans achieved through clinical assessments and findings. This is followed through with education about the body and self-care recommendations such as stretching, strengthening and postural awareness.
She is a big time animal lover and in her spare time, she likes to meet up with friends and family, explore the outdoors and maintain a healthy active lifestyle.
Heather is in good standing with the Newfoundland and Labrador Massage Therapy Association (NLMTA) and the College of Massage Therapist’s of Newfoundland and Labrador (CMTNL)
