As we all know, stretching has many benefits including increasing ROM,lengthening, bringing blood flow and many more.
The key to getting into a good stretching routine, is to first know when and which type is best suited for you to do.
Here is just a basic summary of 2 types and when to use them!
I recomend stretching (static) after a muscle had been warmed up first, (*pain free hold*) increasing hold time to 20 seconds.
Slow, don't bounce it, stay within a comfortable range for YOU.
Dynamic, great for mobility, a introduction to the body on what it should prepare for.
