✨ Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki – What’s the Difference? ✨

Most people are familiar with Usui Reiki, the traditional form of Reiki that originated in Japan and is now practiced all over the world. Usui Reiki focuses on channeling universal life energy to support balance, relaxation, and healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.🥰

What many people don’t realize is that there are also advanced Reiki systems that build on the Usui foundation, one of the most well-known being Karuna Reiki.

Karuna is a Sanskrit word meaning “compassionate action.” Karuna Reiki works with a different set of symbols and frequencies that are often described as supporting deeper emotional healing, releasing long-held patterns, and strengthening intuitive awareness.🌟

In my own practice, I use both Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki when working with clients. The two systems complement each other beautifully, and many people find the combination very supportive during a session.💛

Karuna Reiki training is offered only to practitioners who have already completed Reiki Master training (Level 3) in Usui Reiki, since it builds on that foundation.

I also teach both Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki for those who feel called to deepen their Reiki journey.
