PrimaCare follows the recommendations of Cancer Care Ontario for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening.

May is Hypertension Awareness Month. Get the facts on high blood pressure and what you can do about it.

Visit our free Blood Pressure Clinic on Wednesdays 1:30-4pm or Fridays 9-11:30am, or visit your primary care provider to talk about your blood pressure. Visiting our blood pressure clinic is free and you do not need an appointment!

Please show a warm welcome to Dr. Mark Hirst who will be joining our family health team in St. George, ON at the St. George Medical Clinic. Dr. Hirst will be stepping into the role after the retirement of Dr. Tim Hutton and we are very happy to welcome him!

Dr. Hirst was born and raised in Georgetown Ontario, completing his undergraduate degree at Guelph and medical school training at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. He completed his three year residency as the chief resident at University at Buffalo Rural track, and after completion have returned to Ontario to pursue a career in primary care. Dr. Hirst has an interest in palliative care and addiction medicine, and he is looking forward to serving the community to St. George for many years to come.
