Stevie Update 💗

Our girl Stevie is just cruising along.

She still has that one stubborn abscess that was so nasty, and while it’s better every time they check, we really want it cleared up (or very close) before she comes home…no relapses for this tough girl.

She does have some breathing struggles when lying down, but once she’s up and moving she does much better. And she’s enjoying her time outside! They said she just looks at the grass like, “What am I supposed to do with this??” 😂 She hasn’t quite figured out grazing yet.

I also asked about the bit of tendon laxity she has, and the team is hopeful that nutrition and exercise will help correct it. In the meantime, she’s steadily gaining weight and getting the vitamin and mineral support she was missing before she came to us.

All in all, Stevie is doing well—we just need that abscess to resolve so she can come home and soak up the love waiting for her.
