Think cardio is just for endurance? 👀

Our kinesiologist sees it differently… your heart is a muscle.

Just like any other muscle, it needs to be trained to get stronger and work more efficiently. Better circulation, more energy, and improved recovery all start there.

It is not just about sweating. It is about building a system that supports everything else you do.

Save this as your reminder to not skip cardio 💪

Think your job might be putting your shoulders at risk? 👀

Rotator cuff injuries are more common in jobs that involve repetitive overhead work or heavy lifting.

We see it a lot with mechanics, electricians, care aides, and nurses. When your shoulders are doing the same demanding movements over and over, they can start to get irritated over time.

The good news is that the right strengthening and rehab can make a big difference in how your shoulders handle that load.

If you’re in one of these roles and your shoulder has been bothering you, it’s worth getting ahead of it.

Ever tried to figure out your injury using AI or Google? 👀

AI can sometimes point you toward what a condition might need. But it cannot watch how you move, adjust your exercises in real time, or pick up on the small things happening during a session.

That’s where a physio makes the difference. We look at the full picture. Your movement, your goals, your progress, and how your body responds along the way.

Technology can support recovery, but the hands on care and human connection in physio are still hard to replace.

Save this for the next time you’re tempted to self diagnose online 💪

This is your sign to stop guessing your rehab. 💪

Physio isn’t just a list of exercises you find online. It’s the right assessment, the right amount of load, and the right progression designed specifically for your body so you actually recover instead of going in circles.

If pain, setbacks, or confusion about what to do next has been slowing you down, this might be the sign you’ve been waiting for.

Follow along, book a session, and let’s get you moving with a clear plan and real progress. ✨

Front of your shoulder sore and sleeping on your back makes it worse? 🛌

Sometimes the discomfort comes from the shoulder being stretched for hours while you sleep. A simple fix is placing a pillow under your arm so the shoulder stays supported and slightly elevated, reducing strain on the front of the joint.

Small position changes can make a big difference in pain and sleep quality.

If shoulder pain keeps waking you up or doesn’t improve, it’s worth getting assessed so you can address the real cause. 👀

Feeling pain, tingling, or burning traveling down your leg?🦵

With sciatica or nerve-related leg pain, stretching and strengthening help but the nerve itself also needs to move well. When a nerve becomes irritated or compressed, neural mobilizations (or nerve flossing) can help it glide more smoothly along its pathway.

One exercise we use is called the “kick your head off.” Hands behind your thigh, look down as you straighten the knee and pull your toes up, then look up toward the ceiling to gently glide the nerve.

It’s controlled, simple, and helps restore normal movement not force a stretch.

If your leg pain keeps returning or travels down the leg, don’t ignore it. Get assessed and find out what’s really going on. 💡

Low back pain showing up again? You’re definitely not alone. 👀

As a physiotherapist, the most common spine complaint I see comes from the lumbar spine the lower part of your back made up of five vertebrae. The areas that tend to cause the most trouble are right at the bottom: L4–L5 and L5–S1.

This region handles a lot of your daily load sitting, bending, lifting, and even simple movements like getting out of a chair. When stress builds up here, it can lead to stiffness, aches, or pain that may even travel into the hips or legs.

Understanding where your pain is coming from is the first step toward treating it properly not just masking the symptoms.

If your low back pain keeps coming back, feels sharp, or starts limiting your movement, it’s worth getting assessed so you know exactly what your body needs. 💡
