❄️What Happens to a Woman’s Metabolism in Winter ➡ And Why It Matters

Most women feel “different” in winter.
More tired.
More puffy.
More cravings.
More emotional.
More bloated.
More achy.
More inflamed.
More overwhelmed.

And none of that means you’re doing anything wrong!
It means your body is responding exactly the way women’s bodies are built to.

Let me explain;

🌙 1. Women’s metabolism naturally slows in winter

This is not your imagination.
Your hormones shift with light, warmth, stress, and energy demands.

In winter:
• Thyroid activity lowers slightly
• Digestion slows
• Core temperature drops
• Blood flow moves inward to protect organs
• We burn fewer calories at rest
• We crave comfort & warmth

This is why colder months often feel heavier, slower, or more emotional for us.
