Heart to Earth Birth and Wellness Services

Heart to Earth Birth and Wellness Services Heart to Earth was created with the goal of helping you to bring everything you wish for in your hea

A birth doula is a trained woman who will support and guide an expecting mother and her partner through pregnancy, birth and immediate postpartum. A doula is not a medical professional, and does not take the place of a OBGYN, midwife or significant other. A doula is an important part of a expecting families support team, by grounding expecting parents and bringing their mind and body back to earth during high stress moments. The main goal of a doula is to make a mother feel safe, honoured, grounded and comfortable- allowing the midwife or doctor to ensure a save delivery for both mother and baby. A makes sure you are aware of all of your options when it comes to your labour and birth, and support your every decision.

and then, there's me. super thankful for this team and honored to walk with you.

I have dedicated over half of my life to loving families and walking them through life’s transitions. I have a deep passion for meeting you where you are at, advocacy and peer connections- because no one should walk this path thinking they are all alone. This passion has lead to the births of my babies; Heart to Earth and The Solidarity Space.

I am honoured to be able to support families through private and group education classes, labour and birth doula support, prenatal support, private meal prepping, nesting and postpartum support, infant massage education sessions, transitional ceremonies and community gatherings for parents and families.

I would like to thank you for the honour of considering myself and my village as part of your support village. I promise to honour and cherish every moment of our journey together.

(my social media person would also like you to know that today is my birthday and there's a wee celebration happening at The Solidarity Space tomorrow. half off mocktails and all are welcome. see you there!)

after a decade of supporting families as a one gal team, I decided to take my own advice and ask for help from my village; to provide your family with more options for support, education and held space. there's some new(to some of you) faces around here, so I thought it would be good to get acquainted.

Jennika is a recent English and Sociology graduate with a strong passion for working with children. She has plenty of experience caring for children with her time at Children’s Aid Society as a child and youth worker and as a teachers assistant at preschool levels. This fall, she will be beginning teachers college to further pursue a career in education, turning her passion and commitment for child development into a professional path.

With a nurturing, empathetic, and gentle approach, Jennika prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and feel understood. She brings a calm and patient presence, making it a priority to meet each child where they are and support their individual needs with care and compassion

a labour of love. the dream since day one.

a studio, a clinic, a home. a space to hold all that matters. to fill the gaps in care I bear witness to.

because self care is family care, and family care is community care.

The Solidarity Space (a true brick and mortar space) coming Jan/Feb 2025.

MODEL SEARCH FOR SAT OCT 19
(really hoping for a baby bump!)

this photo will forever hold a special place in my heart. however my friend Levie is a preschooler (who fortunately still loves to curl up in my lap) so it's likely time for an update.

not only this, but there have been some HUGE shifts to the Heart to Earth care model over the last 6 months that is just simply not being represented with our current content. I cannot wait to share this with the world, but if I can tell you anything about birthing something new (I'm sure you could tell me this too!) is that it takes so much time and patience. for now, I stay silent in anticipation (and exhaustion)

for now, I am looking for families to help support the update of my photo content. I strive in my work to be a safe, caring and open space for all families and in support of all informed decisions and would love for my imagery to better represent this.

I am looking for...
- expecting families, willing to show off their babe bump (both parents would be lovely)
- breastfeeding fam's, willing to be photographed + shared
- bottlefeeding fam's, willing to be photographed + shared
- solid eating babes, willing to be photographed + shared
- newly postpartum fam's, willing to be photographed +shared
- any and all families with a 0-18 month old, willing to have images shared

BONUS points for families I have ever supported in my work, just for my own heart and soul.

this phootshoot will take place in Parry Sound this Saturday October 19th beginning at 2pm, onwards.

if you are willing and able to help, please message me or email hearttoearthbirth@gmail.com

I would love to have you!
