👻 WASAUKSING HALLOWEEN PARTY!!! 👻

This is THE Halloween party of the year and you don’t want to miss it! 🕷️🍬

When?: Thursday, October 30th
Where: Wasauksing Gathering Centre
Time: 5:30 PM

Get ready for:

Delicious food & drinks!

Games for all ages (bring your best skills — or just your best laugh!)

Amazing prizes (because who doesn’t love free stuff?)

Costume fun (scary, silly, cute, or creative — all are welcome!)

This is a family-friendly, community night where we come together to laugh, eat, and celebrate. Bring your kids, your aunties, your uncles, your cousins, and yes, even that one friend who says “I don’t dress up” (we’ll get them in costume somehow 😏).

Let’s pack the Gathering Centre and make this the biggest, most exciting Halloween Wasauksing has ever seen!

Don’t ghost us (unless that’s your costume 😉) — see you there! 🦇🎃

🔥 OGITCHIDA FIRE – MEN’S GATHERING 🔥

Calling all men of Wasauksing!

Join us each Wednesday at 6:30 PM at the Powwow Grounds (camping area – bottom of church steps – far right) for a sacred fire gathering.

This is a space to connect as Ogitchida (warriors), reflect on teachings, and honour the responsibilities we carry for ourselves, our families, and our Nation.

Need a ride? Contact Zakkary Pamajewon at 705-773-2890

Miigwech to all who continue to walk the good path together.

Did you know that Indigenous women are 12 times more likely to be murdered or go missing than other women in Canada?

The face of MMIWG is not just a symbol - it is a reminder that we must listen, believe, and advocate for the voices that have been silenced. YOU can be that face. YOU can help to raise awareness and demand action ❤
