Meet our newest team member!

Justine Olfert is a Registered Acupuncturist and she is now accepting new patients!
She completed her 3-year Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture studies in Nelson, BC and brings her knowledge of holistic healing through this lens to Mocean Physiotherapy & Wellness.

She offers acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha, moxibustion therapy, tui na/acupressure massage, and yang sheng fa (TCM lifestyle advice).

The World Health Organization states that acupuncture can improve common conditions like insomnia, depression, stress, stomach issues, diarrhea, constipation, and more. Studies also report acupuncture can be effective for infertility, labour induction, breech position of pregnancy, blood pressure problems, and allergies.

⚠️Important Update⚠️

Starting 2025 there will be reduced availability at the clinic.

I have made the difficult decision to reduce my time in the clinic.

It's been on my radar for awhile, I think for my work-life balance I need to make a change! I've been doing more work at home and need to prioritize my health and my family.

Pre booking now is more important than ever.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. I am committed to continuing to serve the wellness community.

As always, online booking is still available, I am in the process of moving things around so some appointments will get changed, I will reach out to those affected.

I have just opened some of my schedule for January, February and March 2025! More days will be open in the future.

I will be taking new acupuncture patients in the new year!

As some of you have noticed, my schedule after September is not open, unfortunately it will not be open for the rest of the year.

I am having surgery in October so will be away for 6 weeks, if you need an appt please reach out to me and I will do my best to get you in.

Appts will be LIMITED for the remainder of 2024.

If you require an appt please message me ASAP.

Also, no new patients for acupuncture for 2024. Hoping this changes in 2025, I will assess that later this year.

As always, Bioflex is open to new patients!!!!

Good morning, this is a post I dread having to make.....

First of all, thanks so much for keeping me extremely busy and supporting my small business.

It has been increasingly difficult for my regular patients to get treatment, and my cancelation list continues to grow, therefore, I cannot accept any new patients right now, I will revisit this decision in the fall.

I have turned off online booking for new patients and initial acu treatments.

BIOFLEX laser is still open to new patients!
