It is that time of year again! November is Family Violence Prevention Month (FVPM) in Alberta. It is a time to increase awareness of the warning signs of family violence and the resources and supports available so we can work together to end family violence and build healthier relationships in our communities.
In partnership with the Peace River Regional Women's Shelter we have hung some posters around town as well as displayed sillouhettes with statistics in local businesses. (Thank you for your support 💜)

We wanted to take a moment to offer a huge shout out and moment of gratitude to everyone who joined us in making the first ever Shifting Up Conference a success! When asked to rate their overall experience of the conference out of 10, 94% of participants rated their experience of the conference an 8 or higher! A huge thank you to the RCMP as we were only able to host this conference in partnership as part of the Family Violence Initiative Fund.
