This Saturday, May 23rd, you are invited to join us for a 25 km run through Okanagan Mountain Park to Commando Bay and back.
This is a self supported, run at your own risk challenge. This is not a formal event. There will be no aid stations, no sweep team, and no organized support except for the people beside you on the trail.
Know the risks and come prepared. Bring hydration, calories, first aid, bear spray, GPS, cell phone, and proper trail gear. There are bears, rattlesnakes, rough terrain, and unpredictable weather conditions.
We will meet at 6:00 AM and begin at 6:30 AM.
The full route can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. There is no set pace and no pressure. You can run, hike, or mix both. The goal is simple. Stay together. Meet new people. No one solos.
This is not a race. It is about completing the challenge together and swimming at Commando Bay.
Bring a camp stove and some food for after. Sit around, recover, share stories, and maybe make this a regular thing.
