Dear valued and beloved clients.
Thank you for your patience during my new Square learning curve journey. A dizzying array of settings to play/fight with. How fun as they vary in appearance and availability between the app, the mobile website vs the desktop version not fully congruent with my phone. The struggle is real!!! 🫠
Anyway, success! You may now simply TAP credit, debit and digital cards, even watches. No pin required. I had something wrong in the settings to provide the option of a paperless receipt (now also solved). I'll still happily provide a paper rendition, though the emailed/texted version contains all, if not more relevant info for insurance claims. And it just looks better.

Dear valued clients.
I want to thank you all for your most valued patronage. My little massage therapy operation here has evolved into a verified business. This makes my heart super happy and I thank you immensely!!
Therefore! The good news and not so great news.
Let's do good news first:
By next week, you will be able to pay with debit and credit card (get points!) as I am awaiting a Square reader. I am also looking into offering direct billing as it was pre-online stone ages when I last accepted it.
Stay tuned.
Not so great news: I am obligated now to charge GST. I'm sorry to be yet another business to increase my rates, but will be adding the 5% to all services. I decided to offer the debit/credit card option to offset this for you, making payment more streamlined and convenient. This also costs extra fees, which I am absorbing as the cost of doing business. I was initially thinking of simply rolling it into already existing fees, but it just adds up too fast ($45 for every 10 massages...$450 for every 100). I'm terribly sorry, but the gov't wants their piece.

I know, I know!!! Please remember all massage sessions are eligible for insurance compensation should you have coverage.
