After 9 years of microblading, I still stand by it—it’s a beautiful, natural option when done by an experienced artist. But the industry is always evolving, and I’m excited to now offer nano brows as well.

✨ What are Nano Brows?
• Created using a machine for ultra-fine, hair-like strokes
• Less trauma to the skin compared to traditional microblading
• Longer-lasting results for many clients

✨ Who are they best for?
• Oily or combination skin types
• Those with mature or sensitive skin
• Clients wanting a softer, more defined look

What a day! Woke up at 5am and drove to Vancouver (2.5 hrs from Pemberton) to take a Nano Brow course with the amazing

So excited to be offering this new style of brow to my clients! Nano brows are hair strokes done with a machine, similar to microblading yet completely different. Although both options are great for achieving long lasting hair strokes that look natural once healed, the choice depends on skin type and desired result.

Botox is something I wasn’t sure I wanted or needed. But bringing in a nurse injector who is experienced and knowledgeable gave me the push to try it. I also wanted to put myself out there so I can speak from the heart when recommending her to you. I wanted to be transparent with you all and show my experience but I wasn’t expecting the judgement and negative comments that came with that.

For me, facial balancing was the focus, my eyebrows have always sat a little uneven, as well as one eye being a bit more closed, when I voiced this to Stephanie she had me make several hilarious faces (pictured above) to show her exactly which muscles were firing a little more on each side and we mapped it all out. She drew a picture indicating exactly how many units we would need (conservative approach as it was my first time and I didn’t want to be too frozen) she answered all of my questions (500+🤣) with kindness and knowledge and respect for my wallet.

So how many units did we do in my face and neck? Close to 70 - and do I look scary or unnatural? I don’t think so. I look refreshed and a little less tired and I don’t feel frozen which is great. It feels a bit tighter, but I can still move my face and have expressions.

Overall I’m loving the results and they will continue to peak around week 2 and then soften at week 3 and continue to last about 4 months. My plan is to see how I go from there and if I love it, maybe I’ll do it 2-3 times a year and if not then I can just let it fade away and my skin returns to normal.
