There’s something really special about watching a group move from student… to teacher.
This weekend, our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training graduates crossed that beautiful threshold.
In yoga philosophy, we talk about svadhyaya (self-study) and abhyasa (steady practice). Over these months, they have lived both. They showed up to early mornings, to long weekends, to doubt, to laughter, to learning how to find their voice and trust it. They practiced not just poses, but presence. Not just sequencing, but self-inquiry.
As the Yoga Sutras remind us, practice becomes firmly grounded when done consistently, over a long period of time, with devotion. And that is exactly what they’ve done.
Teaching yoga isn’t about perfect alignment or saying the “right” thing. It’s about holding space. It’s about remembering that yoga means union, connection and being brave enough to guide others back to themselves.
To our graduates:
May you teach from lived experience.
May you stay curious.
May you continue to be students.
May your practice ripple outward into your families, your communities, and every room you enter.
It has been an honour to witness your growth and to walk beside you on this path.
The journey doesn’t end here. In many ways, it’s just beginning. ✨
