It is owned and operated by the County of Renfrew and City of Pembroke and has provided quality care to the frail and elderly since 1969. Miramichi Lodge operates under the direction of the Administrator and is regulated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care under the Long-Term Care Homes Act 5.0.2007, which came into force July 1, 2010. The Lodge is a non-smoking facility and property. The Home provides 24 hour nursing and personal care, nutritious meals and snacks, activation and recreation, rehabilitation, palliative and pastoral care, housekeeping, laundry and administrative support. The Lodge has an annual budget in excess of approximately $11M and employs over 200 staff. Bonnechere Manor, a municipal (not-for-profit) long-term care home located in the Town of Renfrew, provides long-term care services to 180 residents. It is owned and operated by the County of Renfrew and City of Pembroke and has provided quality care to the frail and elderly since 1958. In 1995, residents and staff moved to our new, state-of-the-art Home located at 470 Albert Street. Bonnechere Manor operates under the direction of the Director of Long-Term Care and is regulated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care under the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007. The Manor is a non-smoking Home and property. It has an annual budget of approximately $15 M and employs approximately 250 staff.
