We had a blast today at Midland Pride! It was wonderful to see so many people out supporting the local LGBTQ+ community. The fight for equality is just as important as ever with the erosion of DEI initiatives, rising hate crimes, and new laws targetting trans youth in Canada and the world.

Congratulations to Midland Pride for a fantastic event, and thanks for letting us be a part of it!

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility. We at Waves are proud to support the transgender community in these times of great uncertainty and prejudice. We will continue to offer Gender Affirming Care because we know that it saves lives and makes a world of difference for the people who need it.

On trans day of remembrance we honour the lives of trans and gender q***r people lost to anti-trans violence. There is value and healing in collective grief. We recommit to supporting the trans community especially during this difficult political landscape. Gender affirming healthcare saves lives. We offer gender affirming care (HRT, assessments for gender affirming surgery and other specialized services) via self referral or referral from another healthcare provider.
