Our Story

I started my own healing journey on Mother’s Day of 2005. Since that time, I have been guided and molded to be who I am today because of a few key players ~ Psychotherapist Sheila Bristow, Reiki Master Tundi Earl, Energy Healer Deanne Enright, Naturopath and Yoga Master/Guru Sat Dharam Kaur, Yoga Therapist Erin Byron, Body Talker Paula Carter are but a few of my mentors. These power houses have had a powerful impact on my life leading me to delve deeper into my healing and spiritual journey.

Michelle’s Yoga & Therapies came to be because of Miss Jacky. Miss Jacky and I met when I first started teaching at a local gym in Midland. The gym closed and Miss Jacky approached me asking if I could continue to teach her suggesting that my living room was a good spot. So, that’s how it all started folks. I opened up my living room and we quickly outgrew that space so moved out to the garage. After a few frog incidents (Miss Jacky can tell you about those) and after my partner of the time suggested turning the garage into living space for a potential baby room... the renovations began and that is how the space came to be!

My intention and purpose for all that I do is to share and give what has been given to me. I offer my services in a safe and intimate home-based studio and specialize in helping people find meaning, passion and substance. I offer an array of services including individual psychotherapy, yoga classes and workshops, reiki training, and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training & Self Realization Program.
