I am a speech language pathologist, with an interest in speech sound disorders. Services are available to support articulation errors, phonological deficits, childhood apraxia of speech, and phonological awareness difficulties. May is a special month for my field and I'm thankful to be able to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist. There is a growing shortage of clinicians in BC and equitable access has not been achieved. I am grateful for the children and families that I serve and am honored to be trusted with their care. Here is to a month of building awareness and pushing for greater access across the province.
