At Glow Skincare Clinic, we’re seeing more and more clients in their late 20s to early 30s coming in for preventative Botox—and for good reason.

Let’s talk about what it is (and what it isn’t).

🧠 Preventative Botox is the gentle art of using Botox before deep lines and wrinkles form. It's not about freezing your face or erasing every natural expression—it’s about softening muscle movement in targeted areas where wrinkles are likely to show up down the road.

Here’s how it works:
When we frown, squint, raise our brows, or smile, our facial muscles contract and fold the skin. Over time, these repeated movements cause the skin to crease more deeply—especially in high-motion areas like the forehead, between the brows (the “11s”), and around the eyes.

Botox works by relaxing these muscles, which helps reduce the appearance of current fine lines and—when done preventatively—slows the development of future wrinkles. The goal? Subtle, smooth, natural-looking skin that stays fresher for longer.
