I believe that healthcare needs to focus on the delivery of patient centric care while decreasing burn out of healthcare workers. My team and I have worked together over 10 years to understand the opportunities and potential of team-based care. As a team, we were able to increase patient visits by 285%, while enhancing the quality of patient care.

My team and I provide mentorship on both the science and art behind team-based care, resulting in a grassroots cultural shift that improves the lives of patients and healthcare workers. We believe the future of universal healthcare involves empowering and supporting physician led teams to deliver high quality care. To achieve this, healthcare transformation needs to include not only medical advancements, but also the best practices that increase communication, trust and accountability.

I believe that effective and sustainable healthcare reform needs to be bottom up, led by those who understand, and experience, the realities of our healthcare system firsthand. By bringing together the collective wisdom of frontline healthcare workers, healthcare solutions that meet the needs of individual patients, patient groups, and communities can be created, transforming the health of our society.
