Well-loved American herbalist and teacher offering one-day workshop in Summerland, BC Canada, Sunday July 6, 2025.
7song, an Upstate New York-based clinical herbalist and teacher, will be offering workshops in Summerland, BC, Canada. He will be presenting a 90-minute morning herb walk in the Summerland area
(10-11:30 am) followed by an afternoon lecture (2-4 pm) at the Summerland Regional Library on Herbal Protocols for Stress and Anxiety on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Tickets for the workshops are $30 for the lecture or plant walk and $50 for both. The plant walk is limited to 25 people, the lecture 50 participants. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds., but please RSVP by Friday, July 4!
This one-day event follows on the heels of the Kootenay
Herb Conference from June 27 through 30 in the Slocan Valley, where 7song will be the keynote speaker and presenting a workshop on Herbal Medicine and Disaster Relief.
This will be 7Song’s first visit to BC since the 1980s (during his wild hitchhiking days).
About 7Song:
7Song is a clinical herbalist, teacher, botanist, photographer, and naturalist from Ithaca, New York. He is the founder, director and main teacher at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, which he started in 1994. He is one of the founders and a clinical herbalist at the Ithaca Free Clinic, an integrative clinic offering free conventional and holistic healthcare. The clinic opened its doors in 2006 and has been open ever since. The clinic’s mission is to provide access to multiple modalities of healthcare for all.
7Song has been involved in first aid stations for over 40 years, in both off-the-grid and urban environments, treating a wide variety of first aid conditions and injuries. He has helped in disaster relief
events and street protests where herbal medicine can play a positive role in helping people affected in these situations.
