Penticton Better at Home

Penticton Better at Home Better at Home helps seniors to continue living independently in their homes by providing simple, non-medical home supports and connections to community.

Please note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, our services will be directed to keeping seniors safe and connected to the supports in their community. Regular services are suspended but we are still assisting seniors. Better at Home is a program to help seniors live in their own homes longer by providing simple non-medical support services like help with housekeeping, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, yard work, snow shoveling, friendly visiting and simple home repairs. The local program is delivered in partnership between Penticton and District Community Resources Society and the South Okanagan Seniors Wellness Society. Be a part of this Community initiative by becoming involved as a volunteer or a donor. Every bit of support helps and the small things can make such a difference in the lives of the older members of our community. For more information call 250-487-3376
