Looks like it’s going to be a nice day!!! Come on out to the party of the summer and donate to the cause that a select few of us have poured our heart and soul into for the past 10 years…Project Trauma Support - PTS We have great gratitude to the service provided by our military members, veterans and first responders and also great concern for their wellbeing. We HAVE to stand up to support our troops and our uniformed professionals or we may some day find out we are standing alone at the potentially worst moments of our lives. Our work has shown that so much can be done to help to keep our essential service men and women solidly on the job. But we need your help so we can help them.
Please come out Saturday for an evening of great music, great conversation and fun, all for a great cause. Bring friends and a lawn chair. Be ready for a good time. Tickets are $30 - you can pay at the gate but If you buy tickets on line from our PTS website, you get an instant $20 tax receipt. If you would like to come but can’t afford a ticket, some generous donors have bought extra tickets you can use. Please send me a direct message and we’ll hook you up. We are still looking for donations of door prizes. Please bring/send what you can!

Way to go Gordo!!

I was warmly welcomed this afternoon into the Minister of Veteran Affairs office (Darren Fisher). The intro was made by (previous VAC minister) who I am a big fan of.

I briefed Mr. Fisher and his staff on Operator Syndrome .chrisfrueh

IT ISN’T ABOUT JUST OPERATORS!

All the conditions/impairments that come with this line of work can be mirrored for all soldiers… let alone ALL humans!

More importantly, I was briefing the Minister on the alternative therapy solutions that Canada is lagging on. Therapies that do not carry significant side effects or intensive costs. We can send a person to rehab for $100,000 and have them go back over and over yet not look into more cost-effective solutions?

I am just the microphone guys. Just like being a JTAC. I don’t own the bomb. I just am the salesman who gets to drive it. Same with all this information. I am no expert. Or try to be one. I am just Gordo and don’t want people to hurt.

I will be tagging in with the senior medical staff of VAC to download all this information. And, hopefully, talking with the Health minister as well.

We as veterans have to own our $hit. You’re angry? Pi**ed off? Depressed? DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Maybe you’ll find the distraction of working towards something helps.

Our big once a year music concert fundraiser for our charity, Project Trauma Support. We are hoping that many of our friends and supporters will attend or buy a ticket or donate even if they can't.
