We are proud to host Heroes Mending on the Fly, a hands-on fly fishing program created especially for ill or injured Veterans and First Responders.

Held every Tuesday, this program goes beyond fly fishing, offering connection, calm, and a chance to unwind alongside others who just get it. No experience needed, just show up and let the rest unfold.

📅 Starts: Tuesday, February 3 (tentative)

Road Warriors is back, and we’re turning winter into momentum. Push your limits, stack your steps, and compete in our 4-month step challenge running all the way into spring.⁠

We hosted our Christmas lunch today and it was a huge success! The room was full, the food was wonderful, and the sense of community was truly felt throughout the day.

A big heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers who cooked, helped with setup, and ensured everything ran smoothly. We truly could not have done this without your time, effort, and generosity.

We were also honoured to share a very special and heartwarming moment. Bruce Lovell, a dedicated veteran, received his Quilt of Valour during a beautiful ceremony. The Quilt of Valour is a handmade quilt presented to veterans as a symbol of gratitude, comfort, and recognition for their service and sacrifices. Each quilt is made with care and respect, representing the appreciation of a grateful community.

Bruce, thank you for your service and sacrifices. It was truly an honour to recognize you today!

We had such a great time taking part in the Petawawa Santa Claus Parade this year! A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who helped put our float together and came out to support us. We really appreciate all the time, effort, and holiday spirit you brought to it.

A special shout-out to Bruce Lovell for donating his truck and driving it in the parade, and to Dan Bouchard for donating his trailer for the float. We truly could not have done this without you.

We are lucky to work with such an amazing group of people. Thanks again to all of our volunteers! We are already looking forward to doing it again next year!🎅
