Growing Older, Staying Home

Growing older means finding more peace in staying home. There’s something beautiful about the quiet moments, the comfort of familiar spaces, and the joy in simple pleasures. Age isn’t about slowing down—it’s about embracing what truly matters.

In the next 6 years, almost a quarter of Canadians will be senior citizens. Instead of retirement homes, some are choosing to age in place.

A study made by Sohyun Park (Branch Chief at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) says:

Vitamin B12 deficiency is common in older adults because their stomachs make less acid and enzymes needed to absorb B12 from food. This affects 5% to over 20% of older adults. Those over 50 should get their B12 from supplements, not food. Taking 500 micrograms of B12 daily can help reverse signs of deficiency.

So remember to take your Vitamin B12 for energy and wellness!
