Earlier this week, Dr. Kelly had the privilege of delivering a training to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) on Building Resiliency for Occupational Stress. Together with Victim Services Coordinator Alice Czitrom, the team were taught how to be proactive in safeguarding their mental health, identify signs and symptoms of trauma within themselves and eachother, and learned tools for building resilience and coping after a difficult call. This group was so much fun to be around and their commitment to one another professionally and personally exceeds the definition of team. ERT attends the most difficult and intense first responder calls in our community to keep us all safe. So HK&A is thrilled to be involved in ERTs journey, training, and keeping the team psychologically safe. We can’t wait to continue building off of the material we learned yesterday!
HK&A is committed to the first responders in our community. If you, or your service, are interested in learning more about how we can support you and your team please reach out. We are excited to work with you!
Shout out also to Pixie for her retirement as the Facility Dog
