This summer, I decided to try something new… I started gardening. What I thought would just be a way to add beauty to my yard (and honestly keep up with the neighbours stunning gardens) turned into something so much deeper.
It began with researching the right seeds, wandering through garden centres, and imagining what colours would bloom together. I loved choosing the palette for each bed and finding just the right spot for every plant… a little puzzle of light, space, and soil.
Each evening, I’d step outside to water, letting the day settle as I moved slowly through my garden. And every morning, I was greeted with new blooms; tiny bursts of colour and life waiting to be discovered.
The whole process became grounding, a ritual of care and presence. Watching seeds transform into beauty reminded me that growth takes patience, but it always comes with time and nurturing.
What started as a hobby became a daily practice in mindfulness, gratitude, and trust in the process. Both in my garden, and in myself. 🌱✨
