Today is a day for many to celebrate loving those around us. It is also a day in celebration of SELF-LOVE. As music therapists it is important for us to listen, to comfort, to use interventions (such as song analyzes, song writing) in support of each journey. There are many empowering Self-Love and affirmation songs - listed are just a few. Enjoy!

A little more about myself and Journey Music Therapy:

I received my Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University and have been a Certified Music Therapist since 2018. I work with a variety of settings and populations, such as long- term care, older adults, and adults and children with intellectual and physical disabilities. My passion is to advocate, bring the benefits of music therapy services and use the techniques I have to encourage positive quality living for all individuals.
In 2022, I became the owner and founder of Journey Music Therapy. My desire is to bring authentic therapeutic relationships, meaningful interventions and techniques within each session.
Life brings experiences and therefore all individuals are on their own unique journey(s). It is my joy and wish to serve and use music to support the strengths and goals for all journeys.
