Smoke-Free Peterborough helps increase awareness for smoke-free living. Demand for smoke-free environments is on the rise. Ontarians are protected from second-hand smoke in virtually all enclosed workplaces and public places, yet many remain unwillingly exposed in their own homes and yards as a result of smoke from neighbouring smokers. Smoke-free Peterborough is about eliminating cigarette, cannabis and va**ng in the following areas that causes harm to those who do not smoke and do not consent to having smoke in public spaces as well as having smoke invade their own bodies, homes and outdoor properties. This isn’t about denying smokers their right to smoke. It is about making smokers responsible for their smoke. Smoke-Free Peterborough is about giving non-smokers a voice for their Human Right for clean, smoke-free indoor and outdoor air.
