Apparently there’s something called So I would like to highlight Nature's Wild Blend. This company is more than just whipped bear grease butter and salve, (which has been amazing as a massage medium!) Janette is from my community of near Blind River ON. She has been harvesting medicinal plants in the wild for many years, and I’m proud to offer her wild sage bundles, chaga and reishi based herbal teas, sweetgrass mist and bear grease soaps. As urban city dwellers most of us do not have access to these medicines or have connections to an Indigenous community for these resources. Myself and Janette see a genuine need for traditional medicines amongst a culture submersed in toxic fragrances and chemicals with no knowledge or relationship to the land which we all reside. I sincerely appreciate the effort Janette makes in trudging through the Northern Boreal forest amongst dangers and bugs to bring you something truly healing for your body’s largest organ. Congratulations to Sheena Howard. We are so happy you are part of our be well centre community and excited to see all the good you continue to do for our community.

Congratulations to Sheena Howard who received a $20,000 Nurse Innovator Award at the RNFOO NIA Reception held last night. Sheena is developing a program for nurses that provides psychotherapy training and mentorship in managing independent practice. This project will help address the shortage of mental health services in Ontario.
