Four Counties LTC Palliative Network Four Counties LTC Palliative Network is a dynamic and diverse group of healthcare professionals committed to promoting excellence in palliative care.

The 4Pal Network strives to:
1. To Provide support to each other and members of the multidisciplinary team.
2. To share information.
3. To educate.
4. To collaborate
5. To enhance end of life care in LTC facilities.

Since it's first meeting May 4th 2005, the Four Counties Long Term Care Palliative Network has helped enhance palliative care practices for long term care homes in the Peterbrough and Kawartha Lakes area. 4Pal Network creates a support group for caregivers to meet several times a year to bring forth their best ideas to enhance end-of-life care and to be engaged in educational sessions. 4Pal Network is truly a multi-disciplinary team including community health care providers, administrators, nursing staff, spiritual care providers, volunteers, pharmacists, recreation professionals, and others.

Volunteer coordinators of LTC homes 8. Others ***New members are always welcome*** The 4Pal Network hosts quarterly education days on a variety of topics impacting palliative care in LTC.
