Peterborough Public Health and local partners, are notifying the public about the extension of the ‘Drug Poisoning Alert’ issued on Friday, February 4, 2022. Today, the Early Warning Surveillance System detected seven drug-related incidents that occurred over the weekend (February 4-6, 2022).

In response to extremely high demand for COVID-19 testing over the last week, a three-day COVID-19 testing pop-up clinic will be opening in Peterborough starting Wednesday, December 22.

The temporary testing clinic will be located at St. Peter Catholic Secondary School, 730 Medical Drive, and is available by appointment only through this link: https://bit.ly/3spXWWM

To be tested at this clinic, you must meet one or more of the following criteria:

• You have been identified as a high-risk contact and directed to receive testing by Peterborough Public Health, Public Health Ontario or Provincial Work Force
• You have symptoms of COVID-19
• You have received a positive result on a rapid antigen test
