Hello and welcome to my page! Sweet Flowering Yoga & Wellness is my small business. I am a 200 Hour trained and Registered Yoga Teacher. I teach several yoga classes of varying styles in the Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes area. Special details about class styles, locations and times are posted on this page but please always feel free to message me with ANY questions! I would love to come to your work or home to offer group or private yoga lessons! As a new mom I am also very interested in providing my family (and yours!) with natural and alternative personal care and wellness products. WINTER WISDOM ✨

Nothing is rushing. Nothing is forcing its way forward. There is a quiet rhythm of conserving energy, staying close to what matters, and trusting that growth does not always need to be visible.

Held in Winter Mini Retreat is an afternoon created in that spirit.

We will gather in a cozy, supportive space for restorative yoga with reiki, a guided Yoga Nidra journey, journaling, and vision boarding. There will be tea, soft lighting, and time to settle in without needing to be anywhere else.

This can be a meaningful way to step out of the usual pace of life and spend a few hours reconnecting with yourself and the season we are in.

I want to share something that feels really special to me.

On February 28, I will be offering an afternoon Mini Retreat in my new community from 1-5.

🤍 Held in Winter 🤍

This afternoon is devoted to rest. The kind where you can truly exhale and be supported. We will move through restorative yoga with reiki, a guided yoga nidra and deep relaxation journey, journaling, connection time in circle, and vision boarding. There will be tea, snacks, and lots of cozy props.

I know that for many of us, rest does not always come easily. We are so used to caring for others, holding everything together, and moving on to the next thing. Sometimes we forget, or maybe never learned, how to simply stop. Sometimes it can even feel like we need to earn it first.

This retreat is a space where you don’t have to do that. You don’t have to justify being here. You don’t have to be productive. You don’t have to come with a plan.

You can just come as you are ✨

John Bradshaw said that we are meant to be human beings, not human doings. This afternoon is an opportunity to remember that. To rest deeply, and to listen for what might be quietly taking shape within you as we move through this winter season. The vision boarding will be a soft and creative way to give form to those inner whispers, without pressure or expectation.

Day 5 of the Moon to Moon Restorative Yoga Immersion is ready for you!

Today’s practice with Laura is our final practice of the week. It is a beautiful way to complete the journey if you have been practicing along with our immersion, or to drop in for the first time!

This closing practice is centered on integration and release as the moon begins to wane. We move through gentle abhyanga with oil, calming breath, deeply grounding prone rest, and a supported side lying shape that mirrors the returning crescent of darkness. It is slow, nurturing, and designed to help everything from the week settle into the body and nervous system.

You can still join the immersion and access the rest of the practices from the week through the link in bio. When you sign up, you will receive access to all of the free practices and become part of our Moon to Moon community.

Today in our 7-Day Yoga & Yoga Nidra Chakra Immersion, we arrive at the Throat Chakra — the energy centre of communication, self-expression, and truth. This is our space to connect with our authentic voice and practice the art of deep listening.

Join me for a 30-minute gentle Hatha Yoga practice to release tension in the neck and shoulders, open the throat and heart, and invite clarity in both speaking and hearing truth. We’ll move mindfully with the breath, creating space for expression to flow with ease.

After your yoga practice, you might settle into a restful Yoga Nidra for Vishuddha Chakra — a meditative journey to clear the voice, soften into your truth, and listen inward.
