In 2006 I offered counselling and psychotherapy services in a primary care setting when I worked for a Family Health Team. This was offered free to clients when they were referred by a their family physician or other allied health provider.

Performative kindness is a red flag of narcissism. It can be confusing, and may be a tactic for someone to gain your trust.
