Healing from trauma happens in phases, with each one building on the last.
🌿 Phase 1: Safety & Stabilization
In the first phase, the focus is on creating a sense of safety and stability. This is about learning coping skills to manage stress and emotions. This phase is not something to be rushed—building a solid foundation sets the stage for Phase 2&3.
🌿 Phase 2: Processing the Trauma
Once the foundation is built, the focus shifts to exploring and processing the trauma. This phase involves working through the difficult emotions and memories associated with your past experiences, at your own pace.
🌿 Phase 3: Integration & Maintenance
This phase is about taking everything you’ve worked on and integrating it into your life in a meaningful way. It’s not just about healing the past, but creating space for a new future that feels aligned with your true self.
