UNICEF Trent Unicef Trent coordinates with Unicef Canada as an on campus initiative to get students involved in fundraising and awareness of children's needs.

We aim to raise awareness and funds for UNICEF's global mandate and mission, and educate students on how they can help children around the world. UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, promotes quality basic education, protects children from violence, exploitation and AIDS and is the world’s largest provider of insecticide-treated bed nets and vaccines for developing nations. A global leader in emergencies with six decades of on-the-ground experience, UNICEF saves and rebuilds children’s lives in natural disasters and conflict. UNICEF is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from individuals, businesses, foundations, schools, associations and governments.

This is BIG. A moment where we see light in the darkness. UNICEF and partners have secured the release of 3,000 children from armed groups in .

These children have been forced to do and see things no child should ever experience. Now that they've been released, we'll help reunite them with family. We'll also provide the education and counselling they need to help them rebuild their lives. Children should be children, not soldiers!
