Welcome to Santosha Yoga Peterborough. Santosha is the Sanskrit term for contentment, which means to be accepting and grateful for where one is and what one has in life. It is hoped that, through the practice of yoga, one becomes content in body, mind and spirit. Santosha Yoga Peterborough is an intimate space located at 109 Milroy Drive in Peterborough’s north end. Classes fall under the modality of hatha yoga and are suitable for both new and experienced yogis. Classes are comprised of a series of safe and gentle postures, designed to stretch and strengthen the body and develop awareness of the breath. Students are likely to enjoy improved flexibility and balance, as well as feelings of relaxation and relief from stress. Sessions run for 10 weeks, beginning the week of September 12 and all classes are 60 minutes in length. Cost: $100.00 for a 10 week session, or $12.00 each for drop-in classes, space permitting
