Lavender + Play was born when Sarah and Sonja came together to blend Play Cafe and Rooted Lavender during the Covid pandemic. Providing support for families, including programs, behavioural consults, postpartum doula services, and childbirth education and more!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make a little album of photos from when we started in 2015 up until now. I can’t believe it’s been almost 8 years!
My kids were so little.

Thank you everyone for the memories.

I hope to see some familiar faces at our little farewell open house this Saturday from 10am-1pm.

Our Story

Play Café has been a cozy, warm environment for children and their caregivers to create, explore, play, and connect with new friends for the past 5 years. Due to Covid-19, we have been forced to re-evaluate. From this came the idea for at-home activities!! We have opened a brand new children’s boutique! You can shop online and in store. When are able to again, we will host a variety of classes focusing on creativity and family wellness including yoga for kids and adults, mom + baby groups, and more.
