Please be advised that due to the ongoing snowstorm, Little Lake Cemetery is closed. This closure is for both vehicles and pedestrians. The gates will open Friday January 16th.

We love the opportunity to be Santa in our community. Staff dropped off this gift card basket to the dedicated and compassionate staff at Hospice Peterborough. Peterborough is so blessed to have the services they offer to those that need it in the community. We know firsthand the incredible impact they have on families going through challenging times.

Our 8th annual donation event to the YES Shelter occurred today. Opus Tribute Group and its’ employees had a potluck lunch where staff donated many gifts, gift cards and items most needed, such as shampoo, deodorant and personal items for youth in need. Many of the gifts also included warm pajamas, scarves, hats and gloves as well as a donation by Opus Tribute Group. This annual event will help to brighten the holiday season for local youth and people who find themselves at the YES Shelter over the holidays.

We also recently finished up the Santas for Seniors gift donation where staff and friends in our community came together to ensure seniors have a gift to open this holiday season. The generosity of staff and those in our community is incredible.

This past Saturday, our staff gathered together for our annual Christmas party. We recognized some of our staff for their years of service. We truly have the most wonderful staff and each one of them, regardless of their role, play an important part of serving the families in our communities. Shoutout to Chemong Lodge - Home of Country Dining for the beautiful spread prepared for us.

This past Monday night, families and friends along with staff gathered together to remember the loss of loved ones. David Kennedy gave a moving tribute as well as ways to cope throughout this Christmas season. The music by Danny Bronson provided time to reflect while we lit our individual candles. It's times like this, that staff have an opportunity to reconnect with the families served throughout the years. Thank you to the families and staff who came together to honour a life.
