A Somatic Exploration with Straps

Ever wonder how a simple yoga strap can act as an extension of your own nervous system? Join us for a special 90-minute immersion where we move beyond “stretching” and dive into the art of the release.

Instead of pulling yourself into a shape, we’ll use the strap as a tool for biofeedback—creating a sense of containment that finally lets your muscles let go.

By providing the body with a clear boundary, we signal to the brain that it is safe to soften, moving you out of “effort” and into a deep, somatic experience of space and ease.

What to expect:

We will use the strap to create “micro-moments” of space in the joints without the strain of a traditional flow, allowing resistance and support to soothe the nervous system and trigger a deeper relaxation response.

Standing poses that speak to your nervous system, allowing for a deep somatic release and targeted tension relief in the shoulders and hips.

Seated poses for release & length of the fascia in the hips, legs and glutes.

Reclined poses for deep rest and a physical & mental unwinding.

This is more than a stretch—it’s a physical reset for your nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with chronic tightness or need a mental break, this workshop offers the tools to help you find true stillness.

Other mediums, including Claude Brault and John Dixon, will also be present for additional insight and readings.

Silver brings a depth of experience shaped by her studies and teaching around the world—including India, Nepal, Thailand, British Columbia, Panama, Malawi, and right here in Ontario.
