Such a great explanation of the many things Osteopathy can do!

Osteopathy doesn’t treat conditions, it helps the body find ways to change its condition.

We must not forget about our innate ability to heal. When you cut a finger or roll your ankle, the body responds and begins the healing process. The same can be said for many other anatomical or physiological symptoms. Understanding that symptoms are “an indication of a disorder or disease, especially a subjective one such as pain, nausea, or weakness”. It would make sense to treat the body in a way that supports the healing process rather then treating the symptoms.

With this understanding, can you see how Osteopathy can be used as a preventative measure or as treatment?
