A Joyful Afternoon with WindReach Farms!

We had the absolute pleasure of spending time with the wonderful folks from WindReach Farms, who brought along some very special guests—two bunnies, two guinea pigs, and a chicken—for a delightful visit with our Residents.

There was so much joy and excitement as everyone got the chance to pet and hold these gentle animals. Beyond the cuddles, we also learned a great deal about WindReach Farms’ important work and how they carefully socialize a variety of animals to bring comfort and companionship to communities like ours.

Our Residents truly enjoyed meaningful, hands-on time with these lovely creatures—it was a heartwarming experience that brought smiles all around.

A very special thank you to Dale Barrett for organizing such a memorable afternoon. We’re so grateful for moments like these!

Our group had a wonderful time playing Big Word Little Word! The Residents and our student volunteers enjoyed the challenge of finding as many words as possible, sparking great conversations and plenty of laughter. It was an afternoon full of fun, connection, and creativity — we’re already looking forward to the next round!

We had the incredible honor of celebrating another milestone birthday—one of our cherished residents turned 104 years young! What a privilege it was to share in this special day alongside her and her loved ones. Her life is a testament to strength, grace, and resilience, and we’re so grateful to be part of her journey. 💐🎂💖

We recently received a generous donation of beautifully handmade shawls from a local group of talented knitters and crocheters. Our Residents were absolutely thrilled with them—the warmth and care woven into each stitch brought so many smiles and heartfelt moments.

Our Birthday girl was surrounded by warm wishes, big smiles, and of course—delicious cake! Everyone enjoyed the sweet treats and the shared sense of community that makes these days so memorable. 💐🎈

We had another fantastic Bingo session, and the turnout was incredible! Our residents absolutely love these afternoons filled with fun, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter. It’s always heartwarming to see everyone so engaged and excited for each round.
