Did you know your orthotics wear out?

Much like footwear, your orthotics have a lifespan that is dependent on your activity level. Constant use of a single pair of orthotics contributes to increased wear and tear due to humidity and pressure. Alternating between two pairs of orthotics prolongs the lifespan of both.

Here are a few signs that you may need a new pair of orthotics:
✔️return of symptoms
✔️less contact on foot
✔️wear on top cover

Don't miss out on the chance to get orthotics before the end of 2022! Book your assessment before December 15th and we'll fit you with new orthotics or a second pair.

Is forefoot pain limiting your ability to stay active on your feet?

If you suffer from forefoot pain you may be all too familiar with the dull aching pain or burning sensation around the ball of your foot when you stand or walk.

The sooner you start treatment, the better. Proper footwear can be used as a treatment option to reduce and prevent forefoot pain.

Footwear tips for forefoot pain:

✔️Forefoot rockers reduces the amount your foot needs to bend during toe off thus reducing pressure on the ball of your foot
✔️A Shock absorbing midsole supports the contours of the foot and reduces pressure by allowing your foot to sink into the foam cushioning.
✔️Wider fitting shoes relieve pressure across the ball of the foot

Get back to doing what you love! Our Fit Experts will help you discover the right shoes that will help relieve your forefoot pain. Book a One2One footwear assessment today!

Does it feel like you are always stepping on a pebble under your forefoot? You could have metatarsalgia (forefoot pain)

Metatarsalgia is the general term for pain in the ball of your foot caused by pressure in the forefoot. Custom orthotics help to redistribute pressure from the forefoot and into the arch of your foot.

If you are ready to say good-bye to forefoot pain, book a One2One orthotic assessment today. You’ll meet with a Canadian Certified Pedorthist who will assess your foot pain to develop a personalized orthotic solution.
