Not investors. Not shareholders. Not a head office somewhere far away.

We opened our doors with one simple goal: to care for our local community the way we would care for our own family. That means showing up, staying late, answering calls, and keeping a doctor onsite so our neighbours don’t feel like just another number.

But we want to be transparent with you — because honesty matters.

While we completely respect everyone’s right to use our physician and fill prescriptions wherever they choose, the reality is this: clinic and physician services cannot survive without pharmacy support. High rent, inflation, staffing costs, and rising operating expenses make it impossible to sustain a family-run clinic long-term if prescriptions are consistently taken elsewhere.

HealRx is not corporately owned. We don’t have billion-dollar backing. There is no safety net.
Every prescription filled here helps keep our doors open.

It is the ONLY way to keep our doctor onsite.

It helps us continue caring for this community.

If what you’re looking for is convenience, corporate governance, and supporting large chains that will exist with or without you, we truly understand, and other clinics may be a better fit.

But if your goal is to support a local family trying to support other local families, if you believe healthcare should be personal, human, and community-driven, then we need you.

We understand everyone has a choice in where they receive care.

But when our patients reached out on Christmas and Boxing Day, sick, anxious, and needing help, we opened our doors.

Our doctor and pharmacist left their families to take care of you and your families, because this community matters to us.

(Big shout out to my son for being such a supportive little guy, letting me work during the holidays)

Big clinics and big chain pharmacies may close for the holidays, but we will try to be there in whatever way we can.
