In December, our home club (PDBC) unexpectedly lost one of our teammates, Kerry Phillips.

Kerry was tall in stature and personality; he had an infectious smile and an energy that's hard to find. He loved to race, spend time on the water, and was always in favour of ending a practice with a "dirty dozen".

Yesterday, as our crews did our final preparations for Nationals, we took a few moments to remember Kerry on the water. We know that he will be racing with us this week in Montreal.
