Light Your Inner Spark: Intuitive Movement and Embodied Drawing for Courage and Creativity.

Creativity doesn’t come from thinking harder, it comes from movement, sensation, and letting something deeper come alive.

In this three-hour workshop with Jungian psychoanalyst Jane Clapp, you’ll move, draw, and explore on large-scale paper, letting lines, shapes, and gestures emerge from the body rather than the mind.

A space to reconnect with your creative impulse and see what unfolds when you give yourself permission to play.

No experience needed. Just come as you are.

A SPRING REFRESHER… what are those springs actually doing ➿

On the Reformer, springs are your resistance, your support, and your feedback system all at once.

They don’t just make things harder. They change how your body has to coordinate, stabilize, and sequence movement.

SUPPORT VS. CHALLENGE

More springs doesn’t always mean more challenge. But, sometimes it does.

😉

Higher resistance often offers more support, helping you find stability, control, and connection.

Lighter resistance often asks your body to create its own steadiness without as much assistance, challenging you more in certain movements.

It’s a constant conversation between effort and support.

At the studio, our Reformers have 5 springs and use three spring colours:

1 🟡 → light (25%)

Often feels subtle… until it doesn’t. Add it to another spring combo for a bit more resistance OR find it used on its own for maximum challenge and core connection.

1 🔵 → medium (50%)

A balance of support and challenge. Great for finding flow while still asking you to work. A heavier add-on option if you want more resistance.

3 🔴 → heavy (100%)

More load, feedback, and power. Can support bigger movements and moments in gravity, while still challenging strength and control.

And, the longer the spring is stretched, the more resistance it provides.

Every exercise can shift depending on the spring choice. That’s part of the magic.

welcome Adam 👋🏻

Adam Bolton has been teaching movement and meditation since retiring from musical theatre in 2007. He started with traditional Sivananda yoga in the early aughts, later falling deep into anatomy and biomechanics through Yoga Tune Up® with Jill Miller — where he went on to teach in teacher trainings and retreats. Adam has taught in Toronto at 889 Community, Breathe studio and Equinox, and now calls Prince Edward County home. He runs Angeline’s Inn in Bloomfield and House of Falconer in Picton, and brings to his classes a grounded, friendly approach -built on solid mechanics — equal parts thoughtful, playful, and rooted in care.
