Leigh has been receiving tarot readings since 2006 and offering them since 2011. Her readings emphasize empowerment and wellbeing, and are less about telling the future and more about meeting people where they’re at with practical advice and inspiration! She also runs Assembly Press, a PEC-based book publisher.

Frost filled morning moments here in the yurt in Picton.

A sweet second to take in light through this sacred dome is reminding me that there is so much light to be welcomed into our lives… even in moments that may seem darker, moments that present challenge, moments that are cold & bringing discomfort.

Standing here, looking up to the heavens through this sacred dome offers me a knowing that there is beauty everywhere, and it’s a personal choice to slow my day down and simply take notice of that.

Something amazing happens when you realize you are given the hard lessons for FABULOUS reasons.

I have faced resistance, difficulty, discomfort, and personal challenges. Have you?

It hasn’t felt good. Not only that, but it has knocked me on the ground. I am a positive person, but I was rocked to my core. It has been big things...huge things...and each time I would attempt to dust myself off; another uncomfortable challenge presented itself.

Until finally I began falling to my knees, and allowing the messy discomfort to wash over me…and just kept surrendering. Crying....crying to the point that I cannot find my breath. Spending sacred alone time in my practice and in my self care.

You know what’s the funniest thing about all of this? I welcome it all. Give me the lessons, give me the tears, the heartache, the uncertainty. Give me the fear, the worry, the self-doubt.

I am ready.

I am ready, because this means that yet again in this life, I am being asked to rise up, to walk into ascension … to arrive into another vibrational level. That is exciting. That is special!
..and while I may cry, and it doesn’t feel so easy at times; I am fu***ng ready for it, and I welcome it all!

I endeavour to walk forward with all the tools I have to get me there in grace, in dignity, and intouch with my true soul.

I hope you’ll be there with me, cause I’m gonna continue stepping into this wild ride called life, and I choose to do it with a FABULOUS gang of souls that keep me alive and loved in all the ways. That softens the path and makes the load so much lighter to carry.

Please understand this: if you are facing anything of a challenge right now, I hope you can find the mental clarity to see that you have been assigned this lesson simply because - you are ready!

Let’s live brave and choose to rise up together.

healing powers hidden in plants & rocks?!
🌿 🪨 ✨️

Over the past 10-20 years, I’ve noticed wellness trends (that aren’t new trends at all)…salt therapy, essential oils, Reiki Healing & Sauna Rituals re-enter the mainstream. Using stones for self-care have particularly risen. Stones appearing online, on shelves of shops, or perhaps even on your coworker’s desk.

Stones are conduits for the healing energy of the earth. These rocks hold energy because of the way their atoms & molecules move and interact. They also emit energy that can help your state of being, because our bodies are dynamic electromagnetic organisms—we have physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy flowing through us all the time.

Although it may sound a bit- Hippie-Dippie...our ancestors have valued stones, crystals, and plants for ages. Humans have used stones & plants for their healing and energetic purposes for thousands of years. This is something my Baba taught me about my Macedonian lineage. She’d tell me how she and my ancestors used certain plants to heal a snake bite, they used certain rocks to calm the mind and emotions. It was all so interesting to me. I would sit and listen to her wisdom...simply captivated....all the way up until I lost her when I was in my 30’s. I miss my Baba and her stories detailing the wisdom of my ancestors. These passed down Holistic Technologies are not unique to the Macedonians though...not at all. I’ve gained equal wisdom from my Germanic roots as well, but it doesn’t end there...

Ancient Egyptians used stones for healing & protection; sacred Indian texts explain the use of specific crystals and using them to treat illnesses; Chinese medicine often includes the use of crystals; and ancient Greeks and Romans used crystals for protection.

As a wellness educator, it’s been so beautiful to combine my years of study, with the wisdom of my ancestors. Through simply being curious, I know that we are never done learning.

Stay tuned for some favourite basic stones and plants that I view as medicinal. My use of stones and plants streams intentionally through everything I offer.

Find your path, but in doing so, please actually journey the rocky trails,
the trails that lead you into discomfort.
Trust me.

Please seek out the rituals & practices that challenge you to confront yourself in a way that dares you to see growth in the purest form.
Cause finally there will be growth, the growth you doubted was still possible…
because this time… you chose to actually look at the truth; and then work with it.

The truth that’s always been waiting in the shadows scratching at your back door.

Please just let it in.
