Shelby Ranch is located at 753 Durham Road in Scotsburn, Nova Scotia. We are a Western riding facility that offers a variety of services for beginner to intermediate riders from ages 2 to senior. Ride one of our safe, patient horses in our indoor arena or explore beautiful forest trails. Send us a message to book a private or small-group riding lesson or trail ride, available 7 days a week. Regarding the current fire bans this is what you need to know.🌾

We’re open as usual for:
🐎 Pony Rides
🐐 Petting Farm
🤠 Mechanical Bull
🏠 Indoor Playground
🐎 Wagon Rides

✅ 45-Minute Ride: Not affected – does NOT go into the woods, winding past our large horse pastures.

✅ 1.5-Hour Ride: Original route was impacted, but we’ve been approved for an alternative scenic route so you can still enjoy the full experience!

Please remember – these rules are ALWAYS in place at Shelby Ranch:
🚭 No smoking or va**ng
🐴 No stops or dismounting once the ride begins until we return to the barn
